Guillaume de Bary is a producer.  

After working as an assistant director for filmmakers such as Jean Jacques Beineix, Cédric Kahn and Luc Besson, De Bary joined Bandits in 1993 to collaborate with Jean-Baptiste Mondino. He soon led the global supervision of productions, before becoming executive producer of promotional films. At the invitation of Vincent Meyer, he joined Entropie in 1998, to further develop the work of the brothers, Poiraud and Johan Camitz.

In 2001 he founded Irène, a Paris-based promotional film production company.  Among others, he has collaborated with Frédéric Planchon, Xavier Giannoli and Olivier Babinet. Irène quickly became a vital contributor to the sector, and developed lasting relationships with advertisers, such as Orange, Peugeot, Leclerc, Société Générale, etc…in large part thanks to its ability to fully optimize the creative talent of artists it represents, for best communicating the brand’s image. Between 2003 and 2007, the iconic French Champagne makers Veuve Clicquot, entrusted the production company with the whole of its communication apparatus, a project that was done in collaboration with the artists Florence Deygas and Olivier Kuntzel.  

Parallel to his promotional work, Guillaume de Bary has produced several projects, ranging from the art film, Artefacts, by Cyprien Gaillard shown at the Hamburger Bahnhoff Museum in Berlin, to the documentary film by Olivier Babinet, Swagger (the 2016 ACID selection at the Cannes Film Festival), and the collection, 5 fois Nathalie Baye, for Canal + (2014 selection of the Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes Film Festival).

In addition, between 2009 and 2012 De Bary successfully led the APFP (Association of Publicity Film Producers) as its vice president under the association’s president, Georges Bergmann.

At Irène, De Bary has launched several different structures, each with its own specific activity, both in France and abroad: (Soixan7e Quin5e — Luxury Industry. Irène Morocco — production of fictional work and documentaries based in Casablanca. Script Industry — Art and Trademark Scenario. El Nino — Music videos. RiffRaff — Promotional Production in London. Barylevy — Feature Films. Photographers — Photography Agent).

In 2016, with Arno Moria, he created B.Y.E: a creation and production studio that develops digital spaces, films, shows and events, while also offering brands its network of artists and extensive know-how.
